• What is V-Controlheat® and how does it work?

  V-Controlheat® is an oral formulation of Altrenogest, a synthetic progestin that suppresses the estrous cycle so that replacement gilts are held in a synchronized, non-cycling state. When treatment is withdrawn, the gilts come into estrus in a predictable, coordinated manner, enabling batch production.
• What is V-Controlheat® used for, and in which species?

  It is used for estrus synchronization in replacement gilts (pigs), allowing planned batch production and timed breeding. It is administered orally for a defined treatment period; the exact regimen should follow the veterinarian's protocol and the product label.
• How should V-Controlheat® be stored?
