【Pharmacological properties】Pharmacodynamics
Hormone drugs. The product has intrinsic FSHand LH-like activity. In female animals, it mainly reflects in follicle stimulating-like activity, promotingfollicular development and maturation, causing estrus in female animals;Besides, it also has lightly LH-like activity, promoting mature follicular to ovulateor even superovulation. It canincrease androgen secretion and sexual excitement in male animals.
【Indication for use】 Hormonedrugs.
It is mainly used in female animals to urge estrus and promote folliculardevelopment. It is also used for superovulation during embryo transfer.
【Dosageand administration route】
Beforeapplication, dilute 2-5ml sterilized normal saline. Subcutaneous andintramuscular injection:
Estrus stimulation : horse or cattle1000-2000 IU, sheep/goat100-500 IU, pig 200-800 IU, dog 25-200 IU, cat25-100IU, rabbits or mink 30-50IU.
Over ovulation: cow 2000-4000 IU,Ewe 600-1000 IU.
【Adverseeffects】
No adverseeffects was observed when recommend administration and dosage were applied.
【Special precautions】
(1) Not suitable for long-term use, in case of generating antibodiesand suppressing the gonad function of pituitary.
(2) The reconstitution of this product is unstable and heat labile,should be used up in a short period.
